The Daiwa Theory Speci Ext Quiver Tip Rod is part of a six-rod specialist range developed and field tested to cover a wide spread of techniques, venues and species. The two quiver tip models, at 12ft and 13ft, are built for feeder fishing and both feature Daiwa's EXT space-saving design, where telescopic butt sections allow the rods to be packed down shorter for easier carrying and storage. Each rod comes with a considered mix of quiver tips. Fast taper fibreglass quivers assist bite detection when fishing direct, rated as light as 0.75oz on the 12ft and 1oz on the 13ft, and a pair of carbon tips is included for faster flow or when fishing for dropbacks. The 12ft is rated for lines up to 8lb and casting weights of 50g, while the 13ft handles up to 10lb line and 80g loads.
