The Dexter Plugger Lure Rod is a 9ft 6in specialist lure rod built on a high quality 30/40T carbon blank and fitted with Fuji KWAG top-of-the-range guides. Its Fuji exposed blank reel seat reduces unnecessary weight, increases sensitivity and cuts down on angler fatigue, combining to produce a high tech rod suited to the demands of modern saltwater fishing. The Plugger has been specially developed and tuned to handle plugs and poppers in sea conditions. The powerful blank lets you punch lures into the wind and cast at significant distances, handling plugs and poppers up to 60g with ease. The extra length of the 9ft 6in rod gives excellent control of lures at distance and makes it easy to lift your line over breakers when fishing in the surf. The action is fast, responsive and powerful, so you can pick up on taps and vibrations and set the hook quickly. The rod is finished in a cross carbon helix weave pattern with metallic blue whippings.
