Free Spirit E-Class SPM Rod

Description

Free Spirit E-Class rods, often nicknamed the "E-Class Gold" thanks to the gold tipping above the reel seat, have built a strong following for their build quality and strength. The blank uses 40t carbons to deliver smooth, crisp actions, slim diameters and a good balance of weight and feel. It is wrapped in an SEA-3k cloth, a cosmetic Free Spirit pioneered, which gives the blank a distinctive look and feel. Like other rods in the Free Spirit ranges, it has a Perdurable finish: rather than covering the carbon with paints or lacquers to conceal imperfections, the blanks are finished and ground so the quality of the material and finish remains visible. The rods are fitted with a clone seat in the same SEA-3k finish to match the blank, along with Fuji reel fittings, stainless steel collars and a stainless steel butt cap. The abbreviated model features a part shrink, part EVA butt grip. The range covers a wide choice of test curves, from 2½lb up to the extreme 3½lb SU model, so there is an option to cover every eventuality. As with all Free Spirit carp ranges, the aim is to offer choice through a full range.
