The Loop Opti Spare Spool is a replacement spool for the Opti fly reel range, which is offered in a variety of diameter sizes and built for optimised performance across a wide range of species and fly fishing applications. Each model uses a large arbor spool with a unique V-shape, designed for faster, more efficient line retrieval and reduced line memory. The backbone of the Opti range is the Power Matrix drag system, a highly effective and immensely strong braking system. It is fully waterproof and saltwater resistant, using marine grade seals and specialised carbon braking discs. With complete adjustment of tension control, these reels are designed to benefit from the smoothest rotational start-up available in any modern fly fishing reel.
