The Hardy Averon Cassette Reel Spare Cassette is a replacement cassette spool for the Hardy Averon Cassette Reel, which builds on the legacy of previous Hardy cassette reels with a completely redesigned frame while retaining the trusted CLS locking system and compatibility with existing spools. The new frame enhances durability and uses a practical open-cage design for the 4000 to 7000 sizes and an enclosed cage for the 9000 size. A robust disc drag system delivers ultra-smooth stopping power, scaled to the reel size, and features a regulator knob that provides precise adjustments with positive detents. Designed with full compatibility in mind, the Averon Cassette features spools that are interchangeable with the previous generation (Ultradisc Cassette / UDC).
