Preston Innovations Euro Carp 850 STR Edge Pole 8.5m is the next generation of long poles built specifically for carp fishing in Europe. The STR range is based on the mandrel of the Euro Carp range, so previous owners get complete compatibility from butt to tip, while the latest carbon technology produces a pole that is a pleasure to use. The range consists of 5 poles, all sharing the same mandrel so they are fully interchangeable, along with a brand new generation of top kits. The design brief for the range was comfort, power, balance, compatibility and precision. Brand new top kits have been developed for the Euro Carp STR poles, with simplicity as the key design concept. The top kits on every pole in the range are identical, so whether you buy the 8.5m Edge pole or the top of the range STR 1300, the top kits are identical, top quality and fully interchangeable. The range includes 2 power kits (290cm) available in black or grey, a 3pc (440cm) version in black for deeper venues, and a 1pc (185cm) short kit which can be extended back to the full 290cm using the short kit extender. Each top kit features depth markers at 1cm intervals, useful for adjusting depths, shotting patterns and distances between float and connector. As its name suggests, this pole is made to attack the edge line.
