Daiwa Longbow Carp Rod

Description

The Daiwa Longbow DF is a carp fishing rod designed by Korda's Danny Fairbrass, the designer behind the Infinity DF. It is aimed at anglers wanting a high-quality, affordable rod for all-round carp fishing. The rod is built on the same blank as the original Longbow, known for its strength and durability. It is fitted with Fuji DPS reel seats and 50mm butt rings, components that sit at the top end of what is available for rod fixtures and fittings. That combination of blank and fittings is what gives the Longbow DF its long service life. Performance-wise, the rod casts PVA bags out to 100 yards with ease and has a maximum casting weight of 4oz, which covers most carp fishing applications. It also offers exceptional precision when casting, useful for anglers targeting specific areas of a lake or river. The Longbow DF sits below the Infinity DF on price while offering almost the same level of performance, making it a strong option for anyone wanting a capable carp rod without spending Infinity DF money.
