The Patagonia Danner Foot Tractor Wading Boot is built for heavy-duty support and protection in the most demanding wading conditions. Developed in collaboration with Danner and handcrafted in Portland, Oregon, using imported parts, it is designed to be as durable and high-performing as a wading boot can be, with Vibram Idrogrip soles for all-around traction. The upper is made from waterproof full-grain leather treated with a PFC-free tanning process, which improves resistance to breakdown even in salt water, and the leather can be reconditioned. Tough 1000-denier nylon paneling adds excellent abrasion resistance. The lacing system uses eyelets across the forefoot and speed lacing through the ankle, with a single top hook for easy on and off and nylon-coated hardware for corrosion resistance. Perforated drains on both sides of the upper clear water quickly, and the upper is free from unnecessary foams and backers for faster dry times. Stitchdown construction creates a wider platform for more stability, helps protect the boots' sidewalls, and allows them to be resoled by Danner. A molded bi-fit board combines the shank, lasting board and midsole into a single piece, reducing weight without sacrificing comfort and support.
