Description

The Avet SX 6/4 G2 is the two-speed version of the SX, giving you a choice of retrieve ratios: a high-speed gear for rapid line pickup and keeping pace with a fish running towards you, and a low ratio for applying more leverage when playing powerful fish. The reel is precision machined from 6061 T-6 marine grade aluminium and stainless steel components, then anodised for corrosion resistance and a durable finish. Its frame is CNC machined from a single block of alloy, producing a true one-piece structure that is both lightweight and strong. The lever drag has an adjustable strike pre-set, letting you set the carbon fibre drag system to suit the conditions, while sealed bearings and the patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse keep the reel performing under load. The machined offset handle reduces centreline drag and crank wobble, and the reel is supplied with a soft touch handle knob and a matching machined aluminium rod clamp.
