Loop Evotec G5 Reel

Description

The Loop Evotec G5 is the fifth generation of the Evotec series of fly reels, a range that has remained popular in the fly fishing world since its original development. It is positioned as the workhorse among fly reels, with the internal build described as a powerhouse. The reel uses the Power Matrix drag system, which is strong and seamlessly smooth, and is intended to give you confidence when a big fish takes your fly. Each model has an ergonomically designed, non-friction winding handle and a unique counter-weight with a specific o-ring for attaching the tippet when not fishing. The Evotec G5 is suited to a wide range of fishing environments and species. The G5 introduces several design updates over previous generations. A new brake knob is designed to give you more control over the brake, and remains easy to adjust even with freezing fingers. The new spool cap provides better grip when changing spools. The reel is finished in a new gunmetal grey colour. Note: G4 spare spools fit the G5 reel.
