The Hardy Aydon Single Handed fly rod is built around a Sintrix multi modulus carbon fibre blank, a material chosen to deliver a balance of recovery and power without unnecessary weight. The result is a rod that aims to sit at the midpoint between casting performance and genuine fishability, rather than favouring one at the expense of the other. The series covers a broad range of single handed models, from light line weights suited to small stream trout through to heavier options for stillwater fishing on large bodies of open water. Each model has been refined through extended on-water development so that its action is tailored to the fishing it is intended for.
