The Loop Z1 is a single-handed fly rod built as the successor to the Cross series, following several years of design, development and testing. It is lighter and stronger than its predecessor thanks to nano resin technology, and each rod is made from 40-45 ton nano graphene carbon fibre. The result is a smooth, powerful medium fast action that offers distance, control and accuracy. Build features across the Z series include a high grade cork handle, a lightweight reel seat, ceramic lined titanium stripping guides and titanium plated stainless steel snake guides. The Z1 comes in a range of models to suit different techniques and waters. - 2103 – A nymphing rod for rivers and streams. Fitted with a down-lock reel seat for balance, with the stripping guide positioned closer to the handle for line management. - 379 – For dries or nymphs on creeks and smaller streams, with a focus on precision, light tippets and small flies. - 490 – A dry fly and nymphing rod for slightly larger waters and streams. Precise action that helps protect tippet and control fish when using small flies and thin leaders. - 590 – An all-round trout rod that handles any trout fishing situation. - 5100 – For stillwater fly fishing or larger rivers where line control is essential. - 796 – Built for light salmon and sea trout fishing, suited to small to medium sized rivers where a double-hander is not needed. - 7100 – A larger version of the 796, adding line control without losing feel.
