Description

The Black Cat Special Boat Cave II is a boat tent designed for fishing and catfish boats, offering protection from the weather while keeping rods and gear visible and accessible. This updated version features a suspended inner tent that prevents condensation, an addition that sets it apart from conventional boat tents. The robust outer material has a water column of 5000 mm, providing protection against adverse weather. The centrally divided entrance door extends down to the floor of the boat, helping to keep the interior sheltered from windy conditions. Internal Velcro pockets allow the door to be weighed down with lead weights to prevent it flapping in the wind. Large transparent windows give a clear view of your rods, and the rainproof front can be swapped for a mosquito net on mild summer evenings. The separated spreader poles keep transport dimensions compact and the design lightweight, and a tent bag is included for storage. Three proven frame supports stabilise the tent in stormy weather and during transport, and these have been extended with two additional supports near the bow door for a significant further increase in stability. Note: no liability is accepted for air flow damage when travelling at excessive speeds. The bow door has been upgraded with an all-round Velcro strip for better rainproofing, and it also allows entry and exit and anchoring while the tent is erected. The proven 2-arch design has been extended with a third arch at the rear, which can be braced with small telescopic poles where necessary to act as an awning, providing approximately 30 cm of additional protection inside the tent. Individual fixing points in the form of D-rings allow the tent to be securely fastened to many common boat types, both in its standard length of 3.60 m and in the shortened version of 3.3 m. On the shortened version, the front telescopic arch is lowered by approximately 15 cm. The tent can be erected on fishing and catfish boats between 1.85 m and 2.2 m wide, with an optimal usable width of 2 m. - Dimensions: 335 x 220 x 105 cm
