Description

The Rhino BLX 70 is an electric outboard motor producing 70lb of thrust at 12V, drawing around 780W and roughly equivalent to 2 HP. Its brushless design means there are no carbon brushes to replace, so the motor is maintenance-free, and it is suitable for use in salt water. A sport mode button brings the motor straight to maximum performance, while the Vario Speed principle otherwise allows stepless speed control in both forwards and reverse. A display shows the battery charge status while running, and a USB port lets you charge phones or lamps on board. The tiller is extendable, the shaft is made of stainless steel, and the motor can be folded up using a lever.
