With its fast action, the Tenryu Injection Fast Finesse M is built for fishing predators with soft lures. The finesse of the tip might suggest an L power rod, but this is a true M power rod. The butt section is quite short at 28cm, which lets you exert considerable power while retaining ease of movement. This rod was developed for straight retrieve fishing with soft lures that demand long casting distances and high sensitivity. CNT technology, which uses nanocarbon tubes to improve the cohesion of carbon fibres, is incorporated into the construction, giving reliable hit detection and a rewarding fight. The rings are Fuji K with SIC ceramics, resistant to intensive use with braid. For the Fast Finess range, the Japanese manufacturer has moved away from the red livery in favour of a more discreet black, and the handle features a natural cork section.
