Century Eliminator X90 Rod

Description

The Century Eliminator X90 is a high performance UK-built shore rod that sits between the Eliminator T900 and T1000. It is a touch longer than the T900 and a more manageable length than the T1000, which some anglers find a bit too long for casting. The X90 fills a niche in both length and power, suiting anglers who want a little more oomph than the T900 and a little less than the T1000 in terms of casting power and leverage on large specimen fish. The blank is built with Spread Tow Fabric (STF) combined with HPR resin technology and Autoclave Technology, offering significant AT-T anti-twist properties. STF surfaces in the butt and lower tip complement the Anti-Twist Technology incorporated throughout the rod. The design uses new mandrel tooling and composite pattern designs, allowing a semi tapered butt section with progressive phased tapers and an adjustable positioning reel seat. The result is a well-balanced rod with a very responsive tip action that progressively stiffens throughout the curve to store and smoothly release energy from the butt. Unlike the T900, which uses a glass tip, the X90 has a carbon tip with lightning-fast recovery that will also pick up bites at the longest of ranges. The rod will send a lead a very long way while being lighter than both the T900 and T1000, and it will land just about any fish in British waters without being overbearing.
