Description

The Hardy Marksman fly rod is built for anglers who need a lightweight carbon fibre blank that still has the backbone to fire a precise, powerful cast and the resilience to land a serious fish. Hardy has paired a strong yet light blank with a newly designed reel seat, cutting overall weight further so the rod feels almost weightless in the hand. Titanium guides and a subtle non-flash golden olive finish complete the build. The Marksman was tested and developed in Alnwick, England during Hardy's 150th year. - Sintrix FLT applied to an updated mandrel design - Significantly reduced overall weight - Ceramic lined titanium framed stripper guides - Titanium recoil intermediate snake guides - Light weight and secure custom designed reel seat - Aluminium section stoppers - Supplied in Hardy aluminium rod tube - Rod of choice for the widest range of conditions
