Pallatrax Gripz Straight Point Hooks
Description
The Pallatrax Gripz Straight Point is a genuinely new hook design rather than a variation on an existing pattern. It is made from superior grade Japanese wire, and its key innovation is a series of minute horizontal grooves cut into the inside of the specially designed arrow-shaped cutting point. Those grooves give a secure hold in the fish's mouth when pressure is applied. Once the pressure is released, the hook returns to a barbless format, so it can be removed easily and safely. Where anglers have long had only two choices, barbed or barbless, the Gripz offers a genuine third alternative. Like all Pallatrax coarse and carp fishing products, it has been designed with environmental benefits in mind alongside angler satisfaction. - Exclusive hook design with unique and patented grooves that give a firm and safe hook hold under pressure. - Easily and safely removed when the pressure is released. - The arrow-shaped cutting point is surgically sharp and will stay sharp through multiple captures. - Internationally award-winning for the design's fish and fishery safety benefits. - More fish-friendly than barbed hooks, for example no more trailed rigs or tethering in the event of a line break. - Far superior hook hold compared to barbless hooks, for example no hook slippage, movement or tearing during the fight. - Multiple patterns available: Straight Point, Curve Shank, Wide Gape, Eagle Wave and Trebles. - More proven and exciting patterns in development. - Made in Japan exclusively for Pallatrax. - Hook sizes range from size 2/0 through to 16. - High grade and incredibly strong wire. - Chemically sharpened and dull finish. - Hook patterns and sizes that encompass specimen angling tactics through to match and predator.
