Tronixpro T67 Aji Ring Hook

Description

The Tronixpro T67 Aji Ring Hooks are a versatile, light-to-medium wire hook built primarily for finesse applications in sea fishing, particularly for smaller species and modern lure techniques. The "Aji" name often refers to horse mackerel, a target species that demands a fine, sharp hook. - Design: Classic Drop Crystal Style Bend — this distinctive shape allows the bait or soft plastic lure to sit further down the bend of the hook, keeping the hook point clear for better hook sets. - Point: Beaked Point — the point curves slightly inwards, helping to provide a strong, maximum hook hold and reducing the chance of the fish shaking the hook free. - Shank: Straight Hook with No Offset — unlike many popular sea hooks, the T67 is a straight, non-offset hook, often preferred for precision lure work or delicate bait presentation. - Wire: Strong, Forged, High Carbon Steel — while designed for finesse and smaller species, the hook is still forged from high carbon steel for reliability. - Eye: Ringed Eye — a standard ringed eye for easy knotting. - Bait Fishing: Smaller Species and Scratch Fishing — excellent for general species fishing and "scratching" (targeting small, diverse fish). The design is particularly effective with fish slivers, as the bend keeps the hook point completely exposed, reducing missed bites. - Lure Fishing: Dropshot Fishing — a top choice for modern lure techniques like dropshotting, where the bend shape allows soft plastic lures to be rigged further from the point, maximising their movement and action. - Species: good for smaller coastal fish, but its versatility makes it useful for anything that takes a small bait or lure, including flounders, whiting, dabs, and smaller bass. It has also been mentioned for use when targeting Triggerfish. - Size 2 – 15 Hooks per pack - Size 4 – 15 Hooks per pack - Size 6 – 15 Hooks per pack - Size 8 – 15 Hooks per pack
