Description

Trakker Clinga Captive Backweights are designed to keep your line pinned down and out of the way close to your rod tips. They are a practical solution for venues with boat traffic and other obstacles. The gate latch system provides a smooth, secure release, while the smooth winder shape ensures the cord deploys as the backweight slides along the mainline. A 1m length of heavy, lead-free leader is spliced at the backweight end to keep the cord down on the lakebed, which vastly reduces the tangles that regularly occur with conventional captive systems. After the sinking lead-free section, a 9-metre Hi-Viz UV-reactive red cord glows under UV light, making it easy to track in low-light conditions. The winder plate can be attached onto snag ears, positioned underneath alarms, or pegged into the ground.
