Korda Pronged Marker Lead

Description

The Korda Pronged Marker Lead is designed to give you far more detailed feedback from the lakebed than a standard probe lead. The prongs not only transmit vibrations more effectively but also help to retract some weed as you retrieve, letting you identify clear spots in sparse weed and pinpoint exactly where they begin and end. Because the lead is deliberately left uncoated, it avoids the cushioning effect that dampens feedback, so the tremors you feel down the rod are far greater. This sensitivity lets you distinguish finer details in gravel and silt, such as the transition from rough gravel to pea shingle, or from gravel to sand, as well as finding small hard spots in silt that are otherwise tough to locate. The pronged lead is not intended for skipping through heavy weed, where the original probe lead remains the better choice; instead, it is for fine-tuning your approach once you have found a general area. Weights available are 2oz, 3oz, and 4oz. The 2oz version, paired with a smaller marker float, suits close-range work in a small bay where you want to avoid disturbing the swim. The 3oz is a versatile all-rounder for normal conditions, while the 4oz handles big waters, especially when casting into the wind or dealing with crosswinds. - Mixed pack of 2oz and 3oz OR 3oz and 4oz - Uncoated to increase sensitivity - Pronged to not only provide the most sensitive feedback possible but also retract some of the weed - Great casting qualities
