Description
The Shimano Aerlex 10000 XT-B Spod Reel is part of the Aerlex series, a tough reel fitted with Instant Drag and built for heavy-duty work in carp or surf fishing. Its cosmetic design is paired with Aero Wrap II line lay and 2-speed Oscillation, which together with the AR-C spool produce the casting performance both carp and surf anglers need. A high torque 4.6:1 retrieve ratio gives the standard Aerlex the power to deal with heavy leads over rough ground. This SPOD version runs a higher gear ratio of 5.3:1, equalling a retrieve of 115 cm, so the spod can be brought back quickly and more time can be spent fishing. - LINE LAY - AERO WRAP II - BODY MATERIAL - XT-7 - MAINTENANCE PORT - YES (BODY) - BEARINGS - 2+1 - FAMILY TYPE - BIG PIT/CARP - EXTRA SPOOL - 0 - MODELS - 10000XTBSP - WATERPROOF DRAG - NO - HANDLE - SINGLE MACHINED ALUMINIUM
