The Shimano STC XR Stream Spinning Rod 6ft is part of a range built specifically for trout fishing in European rivers and streams using lures and spinners. Each model in the range has its own individual characteristics, covering everything from ultra-light work in small streams to fishing larger, more powerful rivers with bigger lures. The rod is a multi-section design with a short transport length, and it comes with a profiled protective hardcase. The blank is constructed using advanced carbon technology, combining High Modulus Full Carbon with HPC technology, Nanosheet, and Diaflash to produce a fast action. A special progressive curve is built into the rod to absorb the erratic fighting style of trout. It is fitted with premium Fuji K-Type Alconite guides and a classic cork handle with a lightweight Fuji VSS reel seat for added sensitivity.
