Shimano Grappler BB Type C Spinning Rod 8ft

Description

The Shimano Grappler BB Type C Spinning Rod 8ft is a more affordable alternative to the premium Grappler Type C series, designed to bring high-level topwater fishing to a wider range of anglers. It features a responsive medium-fast action similar to the more expensive Grappler models, delivering impressive casting performance and fish-fighting power for saltwater game fishing. Available in three lure weight options, this rod is suited to a variety of situations, from reaching fish feeding on distant bait balls to taking immediate control of hooked fish in clear shallow tropical waters. The rod is built on a full carbon blank using Shimano's Hi-Power X technology, which reduces blank twisting under extreme force during casting or when fighting powerful fish. This allows for a more direct transfer of power, increasing casting range and accuracy so you can isolate and target individual fish. Despite being remarkably light, the Grappler BB bends right through to the handle with an almost parabolic action when under load, generating substantial pulling power. It comes fitted with high quality stainless steel Fuji K-Type guides, a strong Fuji DPS reel seat, and a full EVA handle with a rubber end piece for comfort during long battles. - Designed for long-range topwater fishing for tuna, GT and other powerful saltwater species - More affordable alternative to the renowned Grappler Type C series - Available in three lure weight ratings: 100g, 120g and 150g - Full carbon blank construction for strength, responsiveness and reduced weight - Built with Shimano Hi-Power X technology to minimise blank twist under heavy load - Delivers longer casting distance and improved accuracy, ideal for reaching distant bait balls - Lightweight with a powerful, near-parabolic action that bends deep into the handle for maximum fish-fighting power - Fitted with Fuji stainless steel K-Type guides for smooth line flow and durability - Fuji DPS reel seat for a secure, dependable reel connection - Full EVA handle with rubber butt cap for comfort and control during long fights
