The Rio AFS Shooting Head Kit #10/11 is an easy-casting shooting head system from RIO, designed for effortless distance and clean presentation. The AFS (Advanced Flight Spey) heads feature a long tapered Scandinavian design that produces tight loops and long, effortless casts, making them a strong choice for presentation-focused anglers. The easy-loading design helps you make long casts without excessive effort, while the long, fine front taper generates tight loops that unroll neatly. Many original AFS models have been upgraded to ConnectCore and moved to the Scandi range, but the Floating AFS Heads and this AFS kit, which includes a matching Powerflex Shooting line and VersiLeaders, remain available. The kit includes a Rio AFS Floating Head, a set of three Rio 10' Versi-Leaders (Intermediate, Medium Sink, and Fast Sink), and a Rio Metered Running Line.
