Shimano Ultegra 14000 XSE Reel

Description

The Shimano Ultegra 14000 XSE is a long-range reel built on Shimano's best-selling platform, aimed at redefining the mid-priced market. It incorporates many of Shimano's leading long-cast technologies within a sleek, monochromatic body. The reel is designed to cast further, play fish effectively, and offer durability, suiting anglers who prefer lighter colours, such as surfcasters. Inside the lightweight and rigid CI4+ body, HAGANE Gear and X-SHIP combine with Infinity Drive and Silent Drive for smooth, lightweight rotation, while still delivering power under pressure. The Super Slow 5 Oscillation provides a smooth line lay that reduces friction and boosts casting distance, supported by Rigid Cast to minimise spool deflection and Parallel Body to direct line at the optimal angle towards the first guide. The aluminium AR-C spool further reduces friction as line flows over its lip.
