Their dark brown colour is an excellent match for low-oil content pellets and particularly suited for banding halibut pellets when targeting species like barbel on rivers. They can be attached directly to the hook, used on a hair rig with the band stretched around a pellet, or stretched and pulled inside drilled pellets or boilies, ideally using a Drennan Band Puller. Their versatility extends to various fishing styles, from presenting small baits for skimmers and F1s to larger offerings like dog biscuits for carp. They are also suitable for banding natural baits, including worm and caster.
