Korda Krank Rig

Description

The Korda Krank Rig is a ready-tied carp fishing rig designed to Tom Dove's precise specifications. This rig incorporates the Korda Krank hook pattern, which was developed by Tom Dove in 2014, and is constructed using Kamo coated hook link material. A small section of the Kamo hook link is stripped back to enhance its performance. The Krank hook is noted for its unique shape, featuring an enormous gape and a short, aggressive sweeping shank that curves towards a slightly in-turned eye. It has a sharp, slightly in-turned, offset beaked point designed to secure hookholds effectively. This hook pattern is a versatile option, suitable for various rig presentations and particularly effective with simple knotless knot setups. The standard Krank hook is strong, and its micro barb aids in penetration and retention. Key features of the Korda Krank Rig include: - Available in barbed and barbless versions - Offered in hook sizes from 10 up to 2 - Tied with a size-eight swivel for easy attachment - Suitable for use with wafter or balanced hook baits - Sizes 10, 8, and 6 are tied on 15lb Kamo hook link - Size 4 is tied on 20lb Kamo hook link - Size 2 is tied on 30lb Kamo hook link - Each pack includes Extenda Stops, allowing for the use of different sized baits on the same hair rig
