Korda Chod Rig Short

Description

The Korda Chod Rig Short is a ready-tied carp fishing rig designed for effective bait presentation over varied lakebeds. These rigs are flawlessly tied to Korda's exacting standards, using the same knots and techniques favoured by angler Danny Fairbrass. Each rig is constructed with proven Korda components to ensure reliability and performance. The Korda Chod Rig Short is particularly effective when fishing over debris such as silt, rotting leaves, or low-lying weed, ensuring your hookbait remains visible and is not obscured. The "Short" version typically measures between 2 to 3 inches in length and is often preferred for a "naked chod" set-up, where it is fished directly on the main line or a leader. The design allows anglers to cast into areas where finding a clear spot is challenging, providing a versatile presentation solution. Key features of the Korda Chod Rig Short include: - Ready-tied chod rigs for convenience - Tied with Korda Mouth Trap hooklink material - Features an out-turned eye Korda Choddy hook - Each rig finished with a ring swivel - Available with barbed or barbless hooks - Supplied in packs of three rigs The Mouth Trap hooklink material is a stiff, fluorocarbon-coated monofilament known for its high memory, which allows it to hold its aggressive curved shape and be reshaped if it gets knocked out of form during a battle. The Choddy hook is designed to practically guarantee a secure hook hold. The Korda Chod Rig Short is available in various hook sizes and corresponding Mouth Trap breaking strains: - Size 4 hook tied with 25lb Mouth Trap - Size 6 hook tied with 20lb Mouth Trap - Size 8 hook tied with 15lb Mouth Trap
