Description

The Korda Subline Tapered Leader is a monofilament shockleader designed to enhance long-range casting and reduce the issues associated with bulky knots. Each spool contains five individual leaders, each measuring 12 metres in length. The tapered design allows for a strong shock-absorbing section to take the force of powerful casts, while the thinner end seamlessly connects to your main line, minimising knot size and the risk of crack-offs or frap-ups around rod rings. This construction also provides some stretch when fighting a fish under the rod tip. These leaders are a suitable choice for anglers who prefer monofilament leaders, or when fishing in venues where braided leaders are prohibited. The 12-metre length means the tapered sections can be cut back to a personal preference to suit various angling situations.
