The Korda IQ2 Fluorocarbon Hooklink is a soft and supple fluorocarbon hooklink material designed to offer a balance between stealth and natural bait presentation in carp fishing. It is recognised for being significantly softer than the original Korda IQ Fluorocarbon, allowing for more natural bait movement in the water. This Korda IQ2 Fluorocarbon hooklink is practically invisible once immersed in water. This is due to its refractive index being almost identical to that of water, which prevents it from glowing or casting a shadow like standard monofilament lines. Its density ensures it sinks flat to the lakebed, helping the rig to lay discreetly and follow contours, particularly when used with stringers or PVA bags. While providing excellent suppleness, the IQ2 also retains enough stiffness to be effectively used as a boom material for various rigs. It is known for its good knot strength, with Grinner and Palomar knots being recommended for optimal performance.
