The Korda Arma Kord Leader is a braided leader material engineered for demanding carp fishing situations. It is designed to be incredibly tough and highly abrasion resistant, making it an ideal choice for both shock and snag leader applications. This leader material is notably supple while maintaining a relatively thin diameter for its breaking strain, which contributes to excellent casting performance when used as a shockleader, particularly for spodding. In tests, the Arma Kord proved at least 50% more abrasion resistant than competing products, offering enhanced durability against underwater snags and abrasive lakebeds. Its low-visibility brown colour and thinner diameter also make it less detectable underwater. Being more buoyant than the sinking Arma-Kord version, it is particularly suitable as a snag leader when fishing over obstacles such as tree stumps close to the bottom, where you may not want the leader to sink too far into them.
