Guru QM1 Hooks

Description

The Guru QM1 Hooks are a purpose-designed commercial carp hook pattern, engineered for exceptional hooking efficiency, strength, and overall performance. Originally developed for Method Feeder fishing, the QM1 has become a versatile choice across a broad spectrum of modern angling tactics. Constructed from super-strong, high-quality forged wire, these hooks maintain a compact and balanced shape, ensuring natural bait presentation even with larger sizes. The design features a unique swept-point profile, a beaked tip, and an inward-turned eye, creating an optimal angle for self-hooking rigs. This specific geometry helps the hook rotate and find a secure hold, significantly reducing hook-pulls and lost fish during a fight. A premium PTFE coating enhances the hook's performance, ensuring the point remains needle-sharp for longer and reducing friction for smooth penetration upon a bite. The oversized eye of the Guru QM1 facilitates easy tying, accommodating the thicker line diameters often used in commercial carp fishing. The Guru QM1 Hooks are suitable for targeting a range of fish, from match-sized carp to aggressive double-figure specimens, with smaller sizes proving effective for F1s and large bream. Key features of the Guru QM1 Hooks include: - Ultimate hooking efficiency, strength and performance - Unique swept-point profile - Beaked point, with in-turned eye - Perfect for creating self-hooking rigs - PTFE coated for sharpness and reduced friction - Needle-sharp point - Premium-quality forged wire construction - Barbless and eyed design - Short, curved shank for secure hooking - Large eye for easy tying and hair rig setups These hooks are available in sizes 8 through 18. The size 8 variant incorporates a slightly thicker wire gauge and a wider gape, offering increased strength and enhanced hooking potential for powerful setups and larger hookbaits. The Guru QM1 Hook excels with various feeder fishing methods, including Method and Hybrid Feeder, Bomb and Pellet, and Pellet Waggler setups.
