The Krank hook's unique shape includes a wide gape, a short curved shank, a slightly in-turned eye, and a beaked offset point, which assists the hook in turning and taking hold effectively. The rigs are constructed from a purpose-made, semi-stiff braided material with an 18lb breaking strain. They are tied with a simple knotless knot to the Krank hook. Each rig measures approximately 2 inches in length from the loop to the eye of the hook.
