These mats can be transformed in seconds from a flat mat into a protective cradle by simply tightening a drawcord at each end, which raises the sides around the central padded base. This design provides extra protection for lively carp, eliminating the need for zips, Velcro, or any assembly. Available in two sizes, Compact and Large, these unhooking mats are generously padded to ensure fish safety. The Compact mat is designed for the short session or travel-light angler, suitable for carp over 30lb, while the Large mat is built to accommodate monster carp. The mats feature a tough camouflage outer material and a soft, wipe-clean contact surface to protect the fish and simplify cleanup. For easy fish return, the drawcord at one end can be slackened, allowing the carp to slide gently back into the water. Drainage holes are incorporated into each corner to minimise water collection when the sides are raised. The mats also roll up tightly for transit and storage.
