Drennan Specialist X-Tension 13ft Compact Float Rod

Description

The Drennan Specialist X-Tension 13ft Compact Float Rod is an all-round float rod designed for a variety of specialist angling situations. Despite its 13ft (3.96m) length, a clever design incorporating a retracting telescopic butt section allows the rod to break down into two equal lengths, making it easily transportable like a standard 12ft rod. This feature allows 12 inches of the rod to be stored within the handle when not in use, enabling it to fit into a 6ft rod holdall fully assembled. This rod is engineered with a semi through action, offering a sensitive tip for bite indication while maintaining good reserves of power in the blank. It is well-suited for targeting species such as chub, tench, and bream, performing effectively whether fishing for hard-fighting tench and bream in warmer months or trotting maggots for chub during winter.
