Description

The Korda Mini Heli Safe is a compact version of the established Heli Safe System, designed to offer a more streamlined rig presentation. Its smaller profile enhances aerodynamics, contributing to improved casting distance. This system provides anglers with the flexibility to choose between jettisoning the lead or keeping it fixed, depending on fishing conditions and tactics. The primary function of the Mini Heli Safe is to allow the lead to be dropped as soon as a fish is hooked, which is particularly beneficial when fishing in weedy or snag-laden environments. Alternatively, it can be configured to hold the lead firmly in place, similar to a traditional helicopter rig. Key features of the Korda Mini Heli Safe include: - A scaled-down, compact design - Reduced drag for enhanced casting performance - Supplied with a standard tensioning spring for lead ejection - Includes a stiffer red spring for situations requiring more pressure to eject the lead, ideal for clearer waters - Comes with a collar to prevent lead ejection entirely, securing the lead in place - Can be fished naked or with leadcore - Supplied with a size 11 half barrel swivel - Available in weed green and gravel brown colour options - Durable construction capable of handling Korda's full range of leads, even during extreme distance casting The system offers three distinct ways it can be set up, providing versatility for various angling scenarios. It is important to note that the Korda Mini Heli Safe is not compatible with Dark Matter leaders or the Heli-Safe Tubing Kit.
