The Korda Basix Mainline 500m is a versatile all-round carp line that balances performance with value. It is tough and highly abrasion resistant, yet still casts smoothly and holds good knot strength. The line has a relatively low level of stretch, which aids bite detection and feeling the lead down on the cast. Its camo green colour helps it blend into most lake beds, keeping the rig discreet. Basix Mainline is available in 12lb or 15lb breaking strains.
