ESP Ejector Lead Clip
Description
ESP Ejector Lead Clips are designed for targeting individual carp in weedy or snaggy conditions, where releasing the lead early can mean the difference between losing and landing a big fish. The clip fixes securely to the swivel via a locking peg, which stops it from riding up the line or leader and ensures the lead always ejects first. Thanks to the spring-like lead retaining arm, the lead often pops free as soon as a carp bolts, causing the fish to rise in the water and making it easier to play above weed beds and other obstacles. These clips suit anglers after single large carp where early lead release is an advantage. They are less suited to distance casting with PVA bags, where the lead may disengage on impact, or to weed-free runs waters where multiple carp or tench are caught, as this can lead to too many lost leads.
