The Fox Slik Powergrip Catapult is a new and improved version of the Powergrip, built around a one-piece, solid Slik elastic. Because the elastic is solid rather than hollow, lower diameters can generate more power, and this increased power puts less stress through the elastic. Tests have shown a significantly increased lifespan compared with conventional hollow catapult elastic. The one-piece solid construction also reduces the number of connections and the problems associated with them. The catapult features a curved ergonomic handle that corrects for, and prevents the need for, wrist flexion when baiting, improving comfort and control. A one-piece monocoque polymer frame adds strength, while the teardrop profile on the handle prevents twisting in the hand during use, aiding accuracy. Sculptured finger grips offer greater comfort and control, and wide elastic connections improve elastic flow through the frame with reduced tangling. The pouch is made from a non-tear material and has a non-slip grip for easier use with wet hands.
