The Fox Slik Powerguard Catapult is a new and improved version of the Powerguard, built around a one-piece, solid Slik elastic. Because the elastic is solid rather than hollow, lower diameters can generate more power, which in turn reduces stress through the elastic. Tests have shown this design significantly increases lifespan compared with conventional hollow catapult elastic, while also cutting down on the connections and associated problems found in multi-piece setups. The catapult features patented knuckle defender, while Swing Head fixings help prevent the elastic from twisting. A rubber over-moulded frame with sculptured finger grips offers greater comfort and control, and the pouch has a textured rubber grip and non-tear material.
