Its unique geometry combines an inturned eye with a curve shank, an exaggerated large gape, a subtle beaked point, and a flat base leading to an apex corner. This design aims to drive the needle-sharp point home quickly and then lock it in place, minimising movement once the hook is set. The pattern is versatile across a range of rigs, including spinner rigs and knotless knot presentations, and has been tested extensively in varied conditions from UK waters to Thailand, France, and Spain.
