The SUB x JAG Buzz Bar in Prolite Black is a modular buzz bar system that lets you build a rod pod to your own exact spec. It is part of a fully interchangeable range where you choose from eight different bar lengths in either hard anodised aluminium Prolite Black or Marine grade 316 Stainless Steel. Each bar comes supplied with a 3mm Allen Key and will accommodate any of the three Heads in the range, simply bolting on. To create a full buzz bar you need to choose ONE bar and THREE heads. Mix and match between Prolite Black or 316 Stainless — stainless bars and black heads is a popular set up, looking crisp and saving some weight. Any bar in the range can become a two OR three rod set up, and the 1 inch increment difference between front and rear gives a nice gentle splay. Suggested pairings are listed below, but you can go as wide or tight as you like. - Suggested 2 rod pairs: 3 and 4 inch (super tight), 4 and 5 inch (tight), 5 and 6 inch (standard), 6 and 7 inch (wide) - Suggested 3 rod pairs: 6 and 7 inch (super tight), 7 and 9 inch (tight), 9 and 11 inch (standard), 11 and 13 inch (wide) Heads available in the range: - 2 Rod Middle Insert – centre for a 2 rod set up - Fixed Head – a simple fixed head for buzzer and rear rest attachment - Adjustable Head – a head with locking nut for easy alignment of buzzer using JAG Lock-It tool - Thread Protectors – a neat way to protect and cover the threads on end heads A typical 2 rod set up would include a 5 inch bar plus a 6 inch bar, 4 x Fixed Heads, 2 x 2 Rod Middle Inserts, and 4 x Thread Protectors. A typical 3 rod set up would include a 9 inch bar plus an 11 inch bar, 6 x Fixed Heads, and 4 x Thread Protectors. To complete the system you will need to purchase three heads for each bar — either three heads for a three rod set up, or two heads and a middle insert for a two rod set up.
