The SUB x JAG Black Prolite Head is part of the JAG modular buzz bar system, which lets you build your own setup from fully interchangeable components. Bars are available in eight different lengths, in either Marine grade 316 Stainless Steel or hard anodised aluminium Prolite Black. Each bar is supplied with a 3mm Allen Key and will accept any of the three heads in the range, simply bolting on. To create a full buzz bar you need one bar and three heads. You can mix and match between Prolite Black and 316 Stainless; stainless bars with black heads is a popular combination, offering a crisp look while saving some weight. Widths are flexible, as any bar in the range can become a two or three rod setup. The 1 inch increment difference between front and rear gives a gentle splay. Suggested pairings are listed below. - Suggested 2 rod pairs: 3 and 4 inch (super tight), 4 and 5 inch (tight), 5 and 6 inch (standard), 6 and 7 inch (wide) - Suggested 3 rod pairs: 6 and 7 inch (super tight), 7 and 9 inch (tight), 9 and 11 inch (standard), 11 and 13 inch (wide) A typical 2 rod setup would include: - 5 inch bar - 6 inch bar - 4 x fixed heads - 2 x 2 rod middle insert - 4 x thread protectors A typical 3 rod setup would include: - 9 inch bar - 11 inch bar - 6 x fixed heads - 4 x thread protectors Heads available in the range: - 2 rod middle insert: centre piece for a 2 rod setup - Fixed head: simple fixed head for buzzer and rear rest attachment - Adjustable head: head with locking nut for easy alignment of buzzer using the JAG Lock-It tool - Thread protectors: neat way to protect and cover the threads on end heads To complete the system you will need to purchase three heads for each bar: either three heads for a three rod setup, or two heads and a middle insert for a two rod setup.
