The Daiwa Theory Specimen Barbel and Tench 12ft Rod is built for targeting big tench and bream on large gravel pits, or big barbel on fast flowing rivers. It uses a high quality HMC+ High Modulus Carbon Plus blank, which offers an improved strength to weight and diameter ratio. The rod is fitted with stainless steel Fuji Alconite guides and an EVA/cork combination flattened Armlock handle, along with a strong screw down reel seat sized to accommodate larger mini big pit style reels.
