Description

The Fox Ranger MK2 Rod Pod is an updated version of the long-running original Ranger, refined over the past year to improve versatility and strength. It is available in both 3-rod and 4-rod versions, retaining the core features of its predecessor while adding several key upgrades. The MK2 is designed to handle a wide range of terrains and venue types, from smaller venues up to the largest continental lakes and rivers. Improvements include a new leg locking mechanism that requires only 2.5 rotations to adjust the angle, stronger legs with reduced flex, and six leg angle positions compared to the previous three. Longer legs come as standard, and the pod features new double cam levers, black tubes and framework for added stability, and all-brass threaded fittings to prevent oxidisation. It can also be converted from a standard Ranger leg configuration into a Quad Pod configuration by moving legs to the middle of the frame using the supplied shims.
