The Guru Rig Winder is a rig storage system developed with input from Guru consultants, built from a thick yet smooth plastic that is highly durable and protects floats and rigs. The rounded, thickened ends feature an extra smooth finish, spreading line over a large surface area to prevent kinking and memory. Deep-set with high sides along the full length, the winders safeguard even bigger bodied floats when top and tailing. A top and tail design maximises space, with each winder holding two floats comfortably. Each side offers two hookup options, giving four in total for the terminal end of the rig: a traditional loop style hookup for placing a hook, and a short hook feature for storing a loop. This keeps the loop lying straight rather than bending over, so when connecting loop to loop from mainline to hooklength, presentation stays immaculate. At the pole end, an adjustable slide hookup works with loops or traps line when depth is undecided, and it moves along the winder to suit any rig length without needing a pole anchor. Minimalistic, strong centre pieces in a slick Guru design include ventilation points for easy air drying, plus a flat area for writing or applying the included stickers to note rig components. The bright orange colour makes the winders easy to spot if dropped.
