Greys Platinum X Nymph Tip Fly Line

Description

The Greys Platinum X Nymph Tip Fly Line is engineered for anglers seeking precise subsurface presentation when targeting trout and grayling, particularly suited for nymph fishing and "washing line" techniques. This specialist fly line features a short intermediate tip section, allowing nymphs and flies to drift just below the surface film with enhanced control. It is designed to excel in various nymphing scenarios, from deep pools to clear waters, and supports techniques such as Czech nymphing, French nymphing, and traditional indicator fishing. The line is built with a sophisticated, multi-density construction, where an extended front taper seamlessly transitions into a clear intermediate tip section. This design enables flies to sink quickly and naturally to the desired depth while the floating running line and slightly heavier tip maintain exceptional line control and facilitate easy pick-ups for quick casts. Its advanced polymer coating ensures slickness, durability, and low memory, contributing to excellent handling and shootability. Key features of the Greys Platinum X Nymph Tip Fly Line include: - 105ft overall length - Short intermediate tip section for controlled subsurface presentation - Medium-length head for balanced casting - Slick, supple coating with low memory and excellent shootability - Welded loops for quick and easy leader changes - Dual- and tri-colour models for improved line tracking and visibility - Designed in the UK - Eco-friendly recyclable packaging
