Greys Platinum Plus Pike Fly Line – WF9

Description

The Greys Platinum Plus Pike Fly Line – WF9 is engineered specifically for pike fly fishing, designed to manage larger pike baits and flies effectively. This fly line features a shorter-headed format, allowing anglers to generate high line speed and achieve good casting distance with minimal false casts, even when faced with limited backcast space. Its design incorporates a full-size heavy head and a low-diameter running line, which work together to facilitate long, easy casts and positive turnover with minimal effort. The line is constructed with a slick, supple coating that enhances casting distance and control, providing excellent feel during use. The dual colour design aids in identifying the optimal shooting point, while a slim, neat welded loop ensures easy and secure leader attachment. This WF9 line for pike is typically formulated with an intermediate density, featuring a powerful front taper and an overweighted head to effectively handle the largest pike flies. Key features include: - Focused range for pike fly fishing - 90ft overall length - Dual colour line to indicate the optimum shoot point - Slick, supple coating for smooth casting and enhanced durability - Welded loops for easy leader attachment - Eco-friendly packaging - Designed in the UK
