Daiwa Matchman Feeder Rod
Description
The Daiwa Matchman Feeder Rod is part of the second generation of Matchman float and feeder rods, building on the range's reputation for value with added features and more model choices. The blank uses HMC carbon, with all butt sections reinforced by X-WRAP braiding. This construction gives a crisp, responsive feel with progressive power, allowing good control over hard-fighting carp while still offering extra cushioning under heavy load to protect the hook hold. Each handle uses an Armlock design combining hybrid cork and Duplon for comfort and a clean look. For pellet waggler work, there are four two-piece lengths from 9ft up to 12ft, each delivering positive, accurate casting with loaded floats, crisp line pick-up, and a playing action that becomes power parabolic when fully loaded. The three-piece 13ft edition suits conventional float work on open water in bigger fisheries or river float fishing. Feeder fishing, particularly the Method, is covered by six models. The 7ft, 8ft, and 9ft editions are built for short-range mini method work and close-quarter combat, with slim profiles that still load easily with strong mainlines and hold their own against bigger fish thanks to the X-WRAP reinforcement. For more conventional distances and beyond, the 10ft, 11ft, and 12ft rods suit 40g, 50g, and 60g leads respectively. - HMC carbon blanks - X-WRAP braiding reinforcement - Stainless Steel guides with ceramic - EVA reel locking foregrip - Hybrid Cork and EVA rear Armlock grip - Downlocking reel seat - Hook holder - Feeder rods supplied with two carbon quiver tips
